SOLAR SCREEN HARDWARE MOUNTING OPTIONS
Solar screens can be attached in several different ways. It depends on your window type and layout, but listed below are the most popular ways solar screens can be attached.

Casement clips are screwed into the window casement, securely holding the solar screen in place. Nothing is attached to the solar screen frame itself. Four casement clips per screen are needed for most sizes, but larger screens (one side longer than 48 inches) may require 6 casement clips. Brick Clips are useful for attaching solar screens to windows that are surrounded by bricks or cinder block. The great thing about Brick Clips, is that it requires no modification to the window or to the screen frame. They can be easily removed and re-positioned, yet they hold the solar screen firmly in place. View an example window along with videos, photos and more info on how to install here
Leaf Springs are attached to one side of the solar screen frame (typically the top edge of the frame) so the frame can be securely "wedged" into a window track/channel designed to hold screens. Two leaf springs per screen are needed. View an example window along with videos, photos and more info on how to install here
3M DUAL LOCK
3M Dual Lock is like heavy duty Velcro, clear in color and designed to stand up to extreme temperatures and wind outdoors. It comes in "mated pairs", 1" x 1/2" with one side attaching to the solar screen frame and the other side attaching to the window frame. This can also be used to attach solar screen fabric (frameless solar screens) to the outside or inside of a window. Four or more pairs are needed per screen. Suction cups work best for mounting solar screen fabric without the frame on the inside of a window. We provide you with the requested number of clear suction cups, as well as clear, flat-head tacks, so you can position the suction cups where you need them and secure them with the matching tacks. This provides a great way to quickly fasten and un-fasten solar screens to the inside of a window in your car, home or RV. Our solar screen suction cups are clear and the diameter is 1 7/8" when in use (1 3/4" at rest). When in use, the thickness is about 0.7 inches.
